Privacy Policy

1. Privacy Statement

We are pleased to welcome you on our web pages. In the following we would like to inform you about the handling of your data in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Responsibility

The body named in the imprint is responsible for the data collection and data processing described below.

Saving the IP address

We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser strictly for purposes of security, error correction, error analysis and criminal prosecution. Website access data is automatically analysed to prevent hacking attacks on the site, in particular dictionary attacks on login data and DoS (Denial of Service) attacks, and automatically deleted after the scheduled time period. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

Usage data

When you visit our websites, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a protocol for statistical purposes, in order to allow us to improve the quality of our websites. This data set consists of:

  • the page from which the file was requested,
  • the name of the file,
  • the date and time of the query,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (file transferred, file not found),
  • the description of the type of web browser used,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened in such a way that a personal reference can no longer be established.

The above-mentioned log data is only stored in an anonymized form.

2. Data transmission to third parties

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored on and read from your device. Distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which remain stored beyond the individual session. Cookies may contain data that make it possible to recognize the device used. In some cases, cookies only contain information on certain settings that cannot be related to individuals.

We use session cookies on our websites. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR and in the interest of enabling or optimising user guidance and adapting the presentation of our website.

You can set your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. In addition, you can delete cookies and prevent the setting of new cookies at any time via the corresponding browser settings. Please note, however, that our web pages may then not be displayed in the best possible way and that some functions may no longer be technically available.

4. Newsletter

On our website, we offer you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. If you have given us separate consent to inform you by e-mail about our products and services, processing will be done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. However, this is only permissible on the basis of consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without this affecting the legality of the previous processing. If the consent is withdrawn, we will stop the corresponding data processing.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. Please use the link at the end of each newsletter to unsubscribe. Alternatively, you can also send an e-mail to info[at]dman.de

5. Contact form

You have the possibility to contact us via a web form. If you want to use our contact form, we need your name and e-mail address. You can provide further information, but you do not have to.

CONSENT

By sending the contact form, you agree that the data you provide will be electronically collected and stored. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. We use your data exclusively to process your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time, e.g. by sending an e-mail to info[at]dman.de.

6. Facebook business page

We operate an official Facebook page under the URL www.facebook.com/dman.training on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We do not collect, store or process personal data of our users on this site at any time. Furthermore, no other data processing is carried out or initiated by us. The data you enter on our Facebook page, such as comments, videos or pictures, will never be used or processed by us for any other purpose.

Facebook uses so-called web tracking methods on that page. Please be aware: It cannot be excluded that Facebook uses your profile information, for instance to evaluate your habits, personal relationships, preferences, and so on. We have no influence on the processing of your data by Facebook.

7. Security measures

In order to protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organizational measures. We use an encryption method on our pages. Your information is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line starts with .

8. Your rights as a user

Regarding the processing of your personal data, the GDPR grants you certain rights as a website user:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR):
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data relating to you is processed; if this is the case, you have a right of information regarding this personal data and to the information specified in Article 15 GDPR.

Right to rectification and erasure (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):
You have the right to request the immediate correction of incorrect personal data relating to you and, if necessary, the completion of incomplete personal data. You also have the right to request that personal data relating to you be deleted immediately if one of the reasons specified in Article 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.

Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):
You have the right to request a restriction of processing if one of the conditions set out in Article 18 GDPR is met, e.g. if you have lodged an objection to processing, for the duration of any examination.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):
In certain cases, which are detailed in Article 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transmission of this data to a third party.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR):
If data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f (data processing to protect legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing which outweigh the interests, rights and freedom of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority
According to Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates data protection regulations. The right of appeal may be exercised in particular before a supervisory authority in the Member State of his or her habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
